STRUCTURES DEPARTMENT

The Structures Team serves as the primary physical interface between all engineering divisions within UM Rocketry, responsible for the design, analysis, and fabrication of the rocket’s airframe and structural subsystems. Using CAD and FEA, we develop GFRP composite body sections, bulkheads, and internal mounting structures, ensuring all load-bearing components meet performance and safety requirements while integrating seamlessly with the rest of the rocket.
